Growing up in South Africa, I was exposed to the most incredible tribal cultures and their rhythms. I have been fascinated by tribal dance and music all my life. When I produce, remix, or do a DJ set, I often utilize rare tribal beats from Zulu Africa or deep from the Australian Aborigine culture, often re-mastering them and re-mixing them with current top-40 club vocals or progressive house.
My style is somewhat dark and I love taking deep tribal beats and adding my own flair with unique sounds and thought-provoking effects. My DJ and music style is heavily influenced by the greats such as Junior Vasquez and Peter Rauhofer.
My favorite thing to do is to take my audience on a journey, pushing their minds into an unfamiliar realm where they can express themselves without reprimand and be themselves without being judged.
