As you can see one of the biggest fans of Chills's sound is the Magic Man himself! He fell in love with music in the early years of his life, listening to Hal Jackson and other jocks on WNJR 1430AM. His career started 36 years ago when he started rocking disco and slow jams at The West Side Boy's Club in Newark, NJ.
His turntable skills help him to explode on the college scene in the late 70's thru 80's when club house music was young. Starting out at The Redwood Lounge, His talents landed him residencies in such historic clubs as, Zanibar, Paradisio, Club America, Club 88, and a guest spot at the legendary Paradise Garage!
As the major clubs began to fade in the early 90's giving way to hip hop, He was one of the 1st DJ's to transform the bar scene into a club style atmospere. As resident DJ at The People's Choice Lounge, it actually tranformed into one of the hottest spots in Brick City, attracting movie, sports, and music celebrities alike to hear "Turntable Magic" for three jam packed night a week, making a nieghborhood bar a thumping club spot! Club Headz from all over NJ created long lines to jam in the tiny establishment and party every week!
While not actively out on the club scene he's still up on the latest hot trax and his skills have not diminished one bit. He is respected by young jocks and by those who been in the game for a while. Check him out for yourself and don't just sit there git up an dance!! His favorite motto is:
