Mantrax started djing back in is small ages doing youthclubs playing soul & hiphop and a bit of reggae.in the late 80s to 90s me my brother's and couple ov friends started a soulsound in manchester's moss side called Broadway. We had a good rate of success first playing blues partys then moving to doing clubs nights and a couple of radio shows it was a great time and experiance, but like everywhere the gangs started moving in and spoiling the vibe where it started to get dangerous just playng music.the sound broke up in the early 90s but had a good 12 years of fun.anyway stop djing for a good while then started playing again after a friend got me to play some of is funkyhouse tunes at his house,as soon as my hands touch the decks i was hooked again i had once again got the dj bug.i started buying funky house managed to get a dj spot at emporia in manchester towncentre as resident.that last over a year but i was playing the music but not feeling the music.then i came across deep soulful afro house and that was it,i knew this was the sound i was searching for and that what ive been doing ever since putting on a few nites in and around manchester. just built a 27k soundsystem all ready for the summer to put on some outdoor events playing soulful house so look out for some deep soulful house blasting out at a park or field near you.anyway peeps i'll keep you posted to what am up to where am playing here.
So Stay Blessed
