Born in Bristol (UK), he moved to Alicante at the age of ten, being bilingual in spanish/english.. First stepped into music being a teenager as the bass guitar player in different local hardcore and metal bands. In the late 90s he developed an interest in electronic music and party culture and found himself drawn into the art of mixing, influenced by bands like DUT, Asian Dub Foundation or Fear Factory. In the year 2000 he moved to Valencia to study a sound course that he finished in 2002. He is one of the three founders of the Valencia based d&b crew Bassline Abuse together with Finger and Ohcan. Bassline Abuse have been organizing regular d&b parties for more than five years in the city. He stands out for his work as a promoter in Bassline Abuse and for being the mind behind the bassline abuse oficial website. He worked for two years at the Spanish record distribution company Emot records, leaving the job to concentrate on Bassline Abuse and his dj career. . He has played with big names like Andy C(UK), Zinc(UK), Mampi Swift(UK),Micky Finn (U.K.), Kenny Ken (U.K.), Subfocus (U.K), Pascal (U.K),Noisia(Hol), Temper-D(UK), Black Sun Empire(HOL), Technical Itch(UK)Pendulum (AUS), John-B(UK), Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith(UK), Blame(UK)or Utah Jazz(UK) amongst others... And with practically all of the most important djs of the Spanish drum & bass scene. Clubs and festivals in Tenerife, Seville, Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza, Alicante are some of the Spanish places Lazza visits regulary and june 2007 also witnessed his first visit to London and Belgium. Lazza´s style of drum & bass is mixed and very up to date. Crossing drum & bass genres easily and smoothly. Tight mixing, double-dropping and the ability to play across the border in an hour set all sum up to make Lazza one of the most busiest djs in the Spanish scene..
