DJ'ing Since 1996, I began in College in Cork, Ireland. As we hit the height of an era in Sir Henry's Nightclub in Cork, house, deep and soulful was the predominant sound of the times and an influence to my existing love to this day of House Music. Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson who now produce under 'Fish Go Deep' with the likes of Dennis Ferrer, along with Ronan C, Mr. P & Ms Ken D were sculpting an everlasting following for deep house in the South of Ireland. Sir Henry's Nightclub was a phenomenon of it's time, no more than a large warehouse on the first floor at the back of the Grand Parade Hotel, with it's dark, durty and sweaty vibe, it provided an outlet for music, passion and emotion unrivalled in it's time in the whole of Ireland. A Place were everybody lost their inhibitions, their anger and some their minds for a few hours of combined dancing, laughing and expressions of joy like no other. The tunes were good & the vibe was great...times were good. Along with the local talent we witnessed legends like Garnier, Cox, Migs, Joey Negro,Derrick Carter, Sasha, Stacey Pullen in their hey day when music truly was underground.

It was at this time I began to learn to mix and play House Music, at college parties and pubs around cork city, Rumplestiltskins, Lebowskis, etc. Radio Friendly, was Corks No. 1 Underground dance radio station which I ocassionally made a guest appearance on. At the same time, I was also providing assistance to my brother, Brian Watters, who in the 90's, was a pioneer in the development of the dance music scene in Ireland.

Through the guise of Outdance Productions we were running Underground dance parties in castles around Ireland, Nights such as 'Garden of Eden - Saints and Sinners', with the first plays for such DJs as Nick Warren, Sasha, Pete Bones and Kimball Collins (USA). Truly secret illegal parties hosted in some of the biggest castles in Ireland.

We used loopholes in the law, to rent venues and to sell 'Invites', had 800 people bussed to secret locations around the country from Dublin, Cork & Waterford, for the biggest night of their lives. Until the Gardai (Irish Police) had studied the new Criminal Justice act from the UK, and started applying similar lock downs of Raves and Parties in Ireland, we were rockin' it!

I finished college and moved to Dublin in 2000, and played many house parties (especially in Rehoboth place : ) ) and some underground venues such as @home and The System as well as annual gigs in Eamon Dorans. In 2001 I started to developed a more deep progressive house stlye to my sets. I also started experimenting with drum and bass, breaks and Techno. There's many a mix tape out there of my all my styles!! Not bad at the time either for belt-drive decks and a 2 channel mixer with no eq's., It had always been a bedroom hobby, but it was time to start to take it a bit more seriously. I went North in Ireland to Belfast and played with Eamon Beagon & co, also appeared on Nova 94.7 on Saturday Nights with DJ Dara Lynch. In Dec 2004 it was time to move on, burned my vinyl to mp3 and left for China and South East Asia. While traveling, managed to secure gigs in China, Vietnam (NYE 2004), Cambodia and Thailand spreading the house sound around.

Surprisingly the Islands in Thailand were a driving force for the latest breaks and elektro sounds. Plump Dj's & The Freestylers and went down a treat over there!! :) Since my arrival in Melbourne in June 2005, I've been playing for Remedy @ Mercat, Cushion Bar and the Remedy Boat Party, The Saint & Bamboozled !! I supported Mike Monday (UK's No 1 producer 2005), Boogs and Spacey at Bamboozled in the Playpen in Feb. I continue to play regularly @ cushion lounge and Zest Nightclub

My sounds vary from deep soulful house to a much more progressive sound, and I must say Elektro's grown on me since the mass exposure to it in Melbourne, you can tell by my 2006 Mixes 'Sukka Punch' and 'Part Tree'.......I've got the podcasts now too, so get subscribing on itunes and let me come to you the next time I release a mix

I also run AllTurn Fridays @ 8-Track Bar in St. Kilda in Melbourne where we've been carving out our own lil reputation as a quality house music venue in melbourne.
