I am blues man, I don't sell out , I don't give in, I here to help keep the founding music of America alive. I love Blues as well Southern Rock & Country, the childern of the Blues...
My style represents all the different styles of blues, making my music just what the rest of the blues are,,, the blues. I think there is one style of Blues, and all the so called different styles are just representing the artist playing the music. the Blues are still the Blues.
I custom make my own guitars, i had enough of all of us artist having the same sound and types of guitars, so I make my own custom BL1, BL2, BL3 Bluesman Guitars.
My 1st CD (Crossroads) is and was meant to be just like it sounds, raw, un polished, amped up in your face blues. My remake of Muddy Waters song Mannish Boy has hit as high as #5 on the Indie Blues Charts, and the title track Crossroads has hit # 10. We are now working on my 2nd Cd called Looking Back, and i am working with new writers on this Cd. Both Cd tell the story of the last 25 years of my life.
Looking back will be a very clean with my dirty blues guitar very prevelent through out the CD. The big difference will be the guitar sound, i will still use my Bl 1.2. or 3 seres guitars for rhythum but i am using my Gibson / Epie Dot for my leads giving me another awesome sound.
