I'd just like to quickly cover the basics because I know those who listen to my show aren't usually book fans. Indie 500 Show - began on student radio at Boise State University. It is now a podcast counting up the top 500 songs in independent and unsigned music and features the "Lucky 13" once a month where I count up the top 13 songs in independent and unsigned music.

Anyone can impact the Lucky 13 as well by going to indie500show.com, clicking on a song title in the Lucky 13, listening to the song, then rating the song from one star to five stars. These ratings are all calculated into determining which songs are where in the following month's chart.

The show is always seeking new music from bands and solo artists not signed by major labels - hence independent and unsigned - and submissions should be sent to indie500show@gmail.com, and NOT emailed through podomatic.
