From his early days as songwriter, frontman and producer of the worldwide platinum selling 'The Soup Dragons' with such major hits as 'I'm Free' and 'Divine Thing ' and then the highly acclaimed underground act 'The High Fidelity' , Scottish born Hifi Sean ( Sean Dickson) has been pushing the boundaries of sound and music for many years .

His DJ career has taken in such highlights as one of the residents and co-promoter of one of Scotlands biggest underground parties 'Record Playerz' for 5 years. Also he was main resident at 'Burly' ,one of Scotland's biggest and most succesful club nights for 5 fantastic years .

Recently he has been wowing the capital by playing in some of London's finest partys . From early days at Tonker and a residency at XXL to recently one of the main residents at such events like Juicy at the superclub Fire . Juicy is one of the capitals largest circuit style parties to hit the city in its succesful 3 year run.

Also in the last year since the opening of the Ibiza style venue Area in London , Sean has became one of the residents of London's currently big successful and infamous afterhours called Beyond . Packed from 6am - 2pm every sun morn he takes the party crowd on one of his journeys of sound , melody and rhythm.

Recently he is playing sets at such places as Barcode in Vauxhall and Hard On at Hidden Club London

Now also residing at Space Ibiza's London parties once a month too , and guesting at the world famous Hustlaball.

People come from afar to hear a Hifi Sean set , a great mix of grooves beats and sounds that you will likely not hear anywhere else as he avidly collects great house records and also uses his hit making production skills to drop many mixes made by himself and special re-edits of tracks . Djs have been fighting over some of these mixes that only he plays in his sets . Some of them appearing in dance charts just as bootlegs !

Always one with an ear to new vibes but keeping his focus on keeping the energy and grooves on the dancefloor Hifi Sean is one of the most exciting fresh Djs around
