God Made Me Funky was born in 2006, with De Hornet (Paul Horne) realising his dream of promoting his own parties following a successful solo career, having played alongside some of the greats since the Summer of Love 1988. Moving from London to The South coast, Paul launched "God Made Me Funky" upon Bournemouth with a classy yet underground approach to partying, our "open to all" friendly, family vibe being extremely contagious! Support from some of the U K's top House acts have elevated GMMF's profile, seeing us deliver some unforgettable sets from the likes of The Legendary Paul Trouble Anderson, Hoxton Whores, Sy Sez, Neil Pearce, Aaron Ross & Lady Duracell at some truly amazing parties. Our parties have drawn an unlikely mix of clientèle, having grown slowly from a group of free-spirited friends with an appreciation of house music. A cross section of all walks of life and ages represent the perfect party and nothing else is important, except a love of life & HOUSE MUSIC! GOD MADE ME FUNKY represents Deep Soulful and quality funk house music, with our many friends we take the house party scene back underground. Promoting our nights in select clubs and venues that appreciate that parties are about music and people. With an ever growing following, the God Made Me Funky family has grown from strength to strength following an extremely successful 2008. Already promoting and holding parties in top venues in London, Brighton, Bournemouth, and now Bristol, GMMF will soon be holding a party near you.
