Official podcast from DJ/producer Gary Sparxx. Since the age of 15 Gary Sparxx has always had a huge passion for House Music from Old Skool Breaks to today’s cutting edge Progressive House. It was 1992 when Gary first put the needle to the record at one of his next-door neighbors house parties. Over the following years various connections that used to attend these parties, took Gary on to DJing in local bars and clubs with residencies in several venues through out the week. After being a DJ for almost 19 years now and a self made producer/remixer in recent years, Gary has a huge amount of knowledge when it comes to Dance & House Music with precise mixing and an intuitive selection of tunes. However, most importantly, he loves playing for the crowd, taking you on an up lifting and energetic journey of pure musical ecstasy. In late 2000, Gary Sparxx joined forces with Rossco Bliss to form a charismatic DJ Duo, Suburban Bliss and then Southern Funk in 2004, playing the grooviest funky house. The duo now works under the name of Kat Knapperz playing the very best of Electro & Progressive House. Using the latest technology Gary Sparxx has moved away from the traditional decks (Which he loves) to a Laptop and an iPad as a MIDI controller, completely missing out the CD DJing industry. This has given him the capacity to carry a much larger collection of tracks anywhere in the world hassle free to produce the most amazing sets at any event. Gary Sparxx has Played for many of the top clubs and promotions, including; Kinky Malinky, Hed Kandi, Pukka Up. Area (Gatecrasher) – Watford, Vanilla Bar – Windsor, The Coach House – Enfield, Camden Palace, Egg, Ministry of Sound, Pacha – London, Es Paradis – Ibiza, the list goes on.
