Ciao a tutti! I took my first Italian language class with some friends in preparation for our vacation in Italy. Needless to say the vacation was an incredible experience. I decided that I would return to Italy as much as possible and I would also continue to learn Italian.

Since then I've become the Organizer of the Washington, DC Italian language Meetup group [http://italian.meetup.com/38] and I've returned to Italy many times. Each time I go back to Italy it's even more enjoyable because now I can converse with people in their native language.

Italian fumetti [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_comics] are my latest obsession. I've started to read them as much as possible and I'm finding it to be a great way to expand my knowledge of Italian. This podcast is an effort to share my passion with others.
