DJ/Producer Freddy Valerio started spinning industrial and new wave in the early 90's. Transformed by his exposure to early 90's house, Freddy started spinning house music In 1993.

Freddy started doing house parties in Washington Heights. Everybody in the hood took notice -- he became a household name and a staple in the uptown house music scene.

By1998 Freddy started spinning in Downtown NYC clubs. Dan Q, longtime friend and influence, asked Freddy if he would like to open for him at Tunnel's Friday night Aura party. At this year long residency, Freddy would bring his MPC 2000 and play it live over the beats while Dan Q was spinning.
Freddy would also take over if Dan Q was out of town.

Freddy played in various clubs around the city, eventually landing a weekly residency at the Tubby Hook Cafe with DJ Meticulous, spanning two consecutive summers in 2000 and 2001 for a party called Tripulante, promoted by Fermin Fernandez and Ernies. That same year, Freddy landed a gig in the Dominican Republic. They loved Freddy's music so much he was asked to return to play down there 3 times in one year. They could not get enough of him. The experience of playing in all these different places helped Freddy to develop the confidence and stamina to get the job done of entertaining, creating, and playing for crowds from all over.

For the past couple of years Freddy has been teaming up with DJ/ Producer Lunic. They have been doing a party called Babylon's Kiss, which is known for its underground vibe and great tribalistic darkness. Every year they do a New Years after hours party, which have become legendary.

Through out the years Freddy Valerio has had his eye on producing music as well. With his project studio built and ready to go, Freddy has produced a good number of tracks. Freddy's releases include: "We Beg Your Pardon America E.P," "Soul of Being" on One Step Beyond Records."Levantando" on Soul Sauce Records by Freddy Valerio and Jimbrawnskii; and Soul of Being remix by Lunic Y Valerio on One sifted Records.

Freddy and Lunic Started there own label named Eocotone Recordings in 2006. The Label is now run by Jim Gurrero Oscar Cinema, and Freddy Valerio. The goal is to bring quality House music to the worldly masses. With 17 Tracks out Ecotone is going strong. The label has become the main focus of Freddy in these last couple of years.
