First started DJing when i was 15 when we put 2 for a pair of decks with 3 other mates ( ZeF / T-Bone / Micky W ) Started out on Hardcore / Old School / Drum & Bass after goin to PleasureDome in SkegVegas ( Skegness )to lots Raves ( first being 1994 - last being The Diztruction Nights 4th Birthday 1995) Went out to Solou in 95 on holiday & went out clubbing for first time & on hearing some Classic Tracks like " Night Train, Do You Really Wanna Love ( Positva Records ) & some others like Faithless - Imsomnia & Born Slippy i decided that i liked this House business and had the time of my life!

On landing back in Sheffield after a top summer holiday went to Capital Nightclub in 1995 for the first time back in the dayz when Legends Shaun "Banger" Scott & Naughty Nick graced the decks with there Residency at The Capital ( Re-fitted about 6 times & now called Plugg hosting love2be among other nights every month ) After getting a major dose of Shaun & Nicks influence in taste in Organs & lighter Speed Garage anthems from 10 - 2am it was allways going to lead to one place......

THE NICHE & there it began!!! First time i went to The Niche was 96 when it was a Single floor club, very cosy let me tell you. For a 16year old in that place back then it was a F*cking scary place but held my own & got chatty even more with Resident DJ's Shaun Scott & Naughty Nick!!! The times i had there were to say the least "Crazy"! It was a 12hour allnighter club which was total crazyness, 12am till 12midday! Carry'd on going to Niche for years & years thru to the 2nd floor expansion, the legendary Bank Holiday Weekends with Les Skelton, right thru to the 4x4 Bassline Thing with other Niche Legends from the new era Nev Wright / Jamie Duggan ( Noturnal Records ) & Jamie Feguson & the Police Closure of the Old Niche!

Thru all of this i was still buying loads of records getting of the moment with fellow DJ ZeF & we have got some Blinding classics from the 1996 - 2003 era! Over this time This DJing thing got us alot of Party's round my area inc Cumberland / Fox / Joseph Glover / Swallownest WMC / Mosbrough WMC which were allways sell-outs & F*cking wicked nights that will go down in history as the best times round our way ever, We played monthly at the Cumberland Pub & was allways rammed full! We also inc Several Allnighters at Brams & Mooleys Flat that were MENTAL, How we never got busted by the Police i will never know!

Had a little runn in with Martin Leverton & ZeF - Jones - Jordan played a one off event at Reflective @ Zero. After a taste of that we wanted to Promote / Host our own events. After All this we ended doin a Private Party at Bed in Sheffield, We Started this party in a small 60 Capacity room upstairs but after about a Hour the Club Owner decide to move us into the main second room because about 200+ turned up! And there it began, after the owner seen that we pulled in a crowd that big for a Birthday party he decide to give a Trail in the upstairs room! The First event was a huge success & we secure monthly Residence at our own event called " Ruff Cutz @ Bed " Over our time there we had Our own F Promotions brand DJing pushed into the limelight with DJ's ZeF - Jordan - Jones all being residents along with DJ's that got booked, These inc DJ Richard, D-Tox & Joe Hunt! Had a great runn of events & we were full every month. All Good things come to a end & our night ended pretty much when The Niche Allnighter Opened from 10pm instead of 12am which killed of our night & seemed to be a moved to get ppl into there club b4 they got to ours & another popular night called Reflective @ Zero. This move killed off our night & it was the final nail in our coffin :-( These events at Ruff Cutz went done in history within our area & are still talked about to this day.

We moved back to our roots and carried on doin private partys for ppl in our area untill we met back up with old time mate Naughty Nick just before he opened his new record shop Studio Beatz!

After hooking back up with Naughty Nick & Jon Buccieri who was helping him out at the time Nick got his shop up & running & it was business at usual. Nick started to stock in Speed Garage & the new & upcoming music 4x4 Bassline, eventually nick decided that he was going to promote a night of his own in leeds. This night was the Historical " Love 2 Be " & Nicks new baby was called " Bass 2 Be " held in the back room of the Paradise Club. Alot of Sheffield clubbers took time out to travel to these events to see the like's of NAUGHTY NICK - JON BUCCIERI - ZEF - DANNY BOND - Stu'e - BEN JOEL - BOODA lining up hosting this tightly knitt event held in the back room & were up agaist the main room hosting Funky Hosue with the like's of Love 2 Be DJ's BIG BRETT - PAUL CHRISTIAN - STEVE MASON - JON RUSH - LEED HOLDSWORTH - STEVE LUIGI - PAUL ROUGH - K KLASS - BEN TAYLOR - SEAN HALLY - DA BOYZE & even HOWARD DONALD (former TAKE THAT). This event came to its peak on the 2004-2005 New Years Eve Party when the back room was ramma jamma, infact more full than the main room !!!! This night was one to remember as alot of ppl traveled up on coach from Sheffield & other area's just for this TOP EVENT! After moving the night into the main room the like's of SOL BROTHERS - MARK HOWERTH - JAMIE FEGUSON - NOCTURNAL RECORDS - DIRTY VINYL - ECKO RECORDS - PHAT FINGERZ - MARCUS - BOODA - DAVEY BOY - NICKY G all lined up agaist resident DJ's NAUGHTY NICK - JON BUCCIERI - ZEF - BEN JOEL & the night enjoyed huge success well into 2005. as allways all good things come to a end & so did STUDIOBEATZ @ PARADISE!

Took time out the to do my house up etc & was involved in a outdoor Party couple of years back at the Pitt Pond where about 50ppl turned up & we had it pumping till 4am.

Also i went to Ayia Napa in 2002 & 2003 and also been to Partying Malia in 2005.

Last year a old freind wanted us to DJ at his Leaving Party @ the Dragon & that ended up beening a stomper with 350 ppl parting till 3am. The landlord was impressed & we arrange to have a bye monthly event @ the Dragon called Ruff Cutz Returns. This is a exclusive ticket only event and things were looking good for summer 2008 for some good times & we had 4 events there clockin in at over 200 ppl bouncin on the chairs into 2009 !

Went to Ibiza in 2008 to see what Bassline has made done & its deffo made its mark! Seen Jamie Duggan @ Download Es Paradise & it was bangin!!!

2009 Started a new Era @ we started playing a monthly event @ The Belfry in June were again 200+ ppl turned up & partyed till after midnight.

We also played @ The Vault in Rotherham in June where we could be returning to do another event for Bass Heaven!

@ The moment we are hosting our monthly event at the Belfry and looking for more bookings.
