An honest search for truth requires a comprehensive view of reality, forgoing the human tendency to compartmentalize thought into categories like science, religion, and politics. Nature does not conform to brand; it encompasses all and must be considered in toto. Bearing this in mind, the Fightin Words podcast and blog hold these truths to be self-evident - that all men exist in a state of Sin, unable to achieve perfection - "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" - that the value of Freedom is in its surrender, and Liberty is the means by which we choose who and what to serve - that Despotism must therefore be rejected among men, as none are fit to rule, nor can they without depriving others of the liberty to serve those they choose - that Rights are fences, boundaries which distinguish the person and holdings of the individual - that Entitlements are opposite of rights, tearing down boundaries, eliminating identity, and granting ownership of men to the state.

Walter was an inaugural blogger at RightNation.us in 2004, and has recently resumed writing under the rechristened Fightin Words blog. In addition, he has begun a weekly podcast.

Born a Jehovah's Witness, Walter left the religion when he became an adult and was eventually called to biblical Christianity. He has a diverse background. He served as an actor and artistic intern with the teen advocacy theater troupe Skits Outreach Services straight out of high school, forgoing post-secondary education until recent years. In the late 1990's, he worked as a intern for KDWB-FM in Minneapolis and briefly provided on-air talent for KJCK-FM in Junction City, KS. The vast majority of his professional experience comes from the security industry, where he has worked in various roles and environments, including supervisory and administrative positions. He has an Associate degree in Information Technology and is pursuing his Bachelor in the same field.
