'Tis quite the mystery as to the origins of Fathom 9, but it can be safely said that this artist harbors an insatiable passion for free expression in general, and Hip Hop Culture and Music specifically. With an unbridled imagination, the multi-alias Fathom 9 has never ceased to terrorize his futile competition, or give his audience a more than satisfactory display of metaphorical mayhem gaining popularity over the years from many open mic poetry functions and free-style rap battles---winning few of the latter, but not due to lack of skill potency. Despite what many would consider "marginal success" by mainstream standards, Fathom 9 has at too many times felt the sting of the pariah---seeking to find universal acceptance in artistic circles that were motivated by cultural preservation, and not solely for monetary gain, and as a result has dubbed himself a "protector" of Hip Hop culture, seeking to be educated through it, and share this information with others.
