My name is Mat Koenig and I am
seeking others who value truth.

I struggle with life, faith and religion
and I don't think that I'm the only one.

I think that we are supposed to live
our lives in community with others so I am trying
to create a place that isn't about religion.
It is my dream to create, with others, a
place where transparent, honest, and meaningful
relationships are formed. I want to help bring
together a community of people who desire
a life where it is safe to be honest about who you are,
without worrying who will judge you.

Wouldn't it be nice to share life with a group of
others where you really love and caring for each other, no matter what your differences are? Wouldn't it be nice to know that
if you are hurting, there's a waiting shoulder to cry on?

For me, and many others, church has not been this place...
but I ask the "church":why is that?

From what I understand, Jesus said that
he came so people could have a better life.

I want to experience that kind of life and
I want to experience it with friends; new and
old.

I am seeking truth, happiness and love and I
am inviting you to be part of starting this
online community known as The Gathering.
