The Five Agreements:
1) BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
2) DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
3) DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4) ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are tired as opposed to well rested. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.
5) BE SKEPTICAL, BUT LEARN TO LISTEN
Don’t believe yourself or anybody else. Use the power of doubt to question everything you hear: Is it really the truth? Listen to the intent behind the words, and you will understand the real message.

LIVING YOUR TRUTH POWERFULLY
This is such a rich statement, “Living Your Truth Powerfully.” This article is about supporting the idea that there is no “THE TRUTH” and all that really exists is “YOUR TRUTH.” The question now posed is, “What’s the difference between THE TRUTH and YOUR TRUTH? The basic difference between THE TRUTH and YOUR TRUTH is, THE TRUTH is somebody else’s truth being presented as THE TRUTH. A classic example of this is how some religions say that there is only ONE GOD and ONE WAY to get to this GOD. It’s presented as THE TRUTH. So another word for TRUTHS is BELIEFS. Beliefs dictate behaviour/choices one will make in their everyday life, but are these beliefs truly one’s beliefs or someone else’s beliefs posing as THE TRUTH?
Living Your Truth Powerfully simply means living what works for you through your experience of it and that formulates your belief about the experience. I have also learned through my existence of life how I have been DOMESTICATED (given beliefs as THE TRUTH) by the environment I grew up in, the religion I grew up in through my parents, the education system that taught me what was important for me to learn and remember and use in my life. The ethnic group that I became a part of through the colour of my skin and the unspoken do’s and don’ts that come with that ethnic group. I was taught good/bad, right/wrong, exclusion over inclusion, separation over oneness, segregation over integration, violence over non-violence, either/or over both/and, and conditional love over un-conditional love. All of them taught me this is THE TRUTH and said it shall set you FREE.
My breakthrough came for me when I started travelling outside my country of birth. The places I visited the people I met, the conversations we had, the friendships that were created, and the LOVE that was felt by all. These experiences blew many beliefs that I was taught as THE TRUTH out of my existence. I started establishing my truth from my experiences and creating new beliefs that came forth from my inner knowingness. All my life I had been taught THE TRUTH about death (go to Heaven or Hell based on how you lived your life), but it never really landed well with me, so I created another truth (MY TRUTH) around death. I expanded my belief about death and then my Mother died and I got a chance to see how MY TRUTH of death compared to THE TRUTH I had been taught. It was amazing how my inner knowingness & experience (MY TRUTH) about my Mothers death comforted me when this experience actually happened.
YOUR TRUTH must be built on Healthy Self-Esteem. It is important for all Human Beings to have Healthy Self-Esteem to create THEIR TRUTH and live it powerfully. Before YOUR TRUTH can be created and lived powerfully, Healthy Self-Esteem must be addressed. So expecting someone to Live There Truth Powerfully when they have low self-esteem will never happen.
To end this article I ask you to imagine that your life was like a blank canvass when you were born and how you lived your life with the various experiences you had is the painting now on this canvass. Now your life in your physical body has ended and you are now with SOURCE ENERGY and SOURCE ENERGY asks you “Why did you paint that picture?” and your answer will consist of only 2 possible answers;
1) I took a risk and lived my life my way (YOUR TRUTH) or 2) I played it safe and lived my life how others felt I ought to have lived it (THE TRUTH). Which answer speaks to WHO YOU REALLY ARE?
