It all started for me back in the Disco era. Back at a time when afro's were in and platform shoes were funky. My cousins and I snuck in to a party in a basement. I don't remember alot of what happened that night but one thing did stood out, how the music kind of had a hold on everyone. How everyone reacted to the songs the DJ was playing. The DJ that was playing that night was actually my older cousin DJ Mike Rivera from Newark New Jersey. I was hooked on the music, the vibe, the atmosphere. After that night I tried to listen to my cousin play every chance I had. I started off with a single tape deck and a no pitch turntable. Then my father saw how much fun I was having with it that he purchased some of my cousins old equipment and two no pitch turntables. I made due with what I had and started to collect music and practice everyday after school. I then tried my hands at mobile DJing for many years and now I'm going into Producing/Remixing music. With a little help from some good friends and family I'll be making my mark in the music industry. Make room in the DJ booth and recording studios because here comes DJ a*TOM*ic.
