Worldwide DJ TakTixX a.k.a. T-Love, has been in love with hip hop since he could remember. First touching 2 turntables at the age of 5 when his uncles would leave them unattended, he would imitate, pretend, and dream of mixing records and rockin parties until it finally came true. TakTixX was a military brat for part of his life which led him to be exposed to other cultures and other styles of music that still influence him today. Born in Brooklyn, NYC in the 70's around the time hip hop was born, a young TakTixX would attend park jams, community center parties, and participate in talent shows. Absorbing the essence of NYC hip hop at a very young and impressionable age is what shaped and influenced him to be a DJ. Later moving around and having a thirst for hip hop, he would discover rock, house, reggae, calypso, salsa, and jazz, all while crafting his remarkable DJ and production skills. With over 20 yrs experience under his belt, TakTixX continues to do what he loves to do, DJ.
