Hailing from the Windy City, Ron was drawn to beat of the drum of house music in the early 80's. Like most, he was influenced by some of the top DJ's in the game. Mainly Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, and Lil' Louis. When the underground house music scene was at it's peak, DJ Ron Jones had the opportunity to open for Ron Hardy at the Edge of the Looking Glass. A very humbling experience for him. At that moment he knew that he had to do this for the Love of the music! Constantly digging for good music that has that sound or that vibe whether new or old. Rare funky disco, clever re-edits, soulful house, or just hypnotic slam dancing underground tracks, Ron's goal is to spread vibes throughout the world and with podomatic he is doing just that.
