Rodney B hails from a music oriented family. At a young age he played both trumpet and guitar. Rodney began DJing in the early eighties. He began as a hip-hop DJ but later changed to Dance/House music after listening to several late night New York radio shows. In 1988 Rodney played on WLFR FM on the "South Jersey Club Connection Show" in Pomona, New Jersey. While DJing at Stockton State College Rodney placed third and second in the Los Latinos Unidos 1988-89 "Battle of the DJ's" Rodney's played in numerous clubs and bars in Central Jersey and South Jersey including JJ Pop's, Crystal Palace, The Gas Light, Katmandu Night Club and Abruzzis. Rodney's had guest mixshows on various websites including Tony Humphries Yellorange.com, Global soul.com, Positive-Vibes.com and a host of others. Currently has the "Shake-n-Bake" show on Saturday's @ 10 pm on www.radiofreemidamerica.com. Rodney's currently working on tracks with long time DJ and business partner DJ Riv of Soundwave Productions. Stay tuned everybody!
