DJ Paul Heron

Worldwide Delice, Matinee london & and White party europe resident DJ Paul Heron isn't your typical DJ nor would he care to be.

Living by the musical mantra 'dirty, sexy fun' and describing his sound as dirty pumping funk and house, touching on sexy disco to tougher tribal grooves, Paul draws upon the 15,000 or so records he has amassed to craft club-specific sets that have seen his name become a byword for the best in electro, funky, tribal and progressive house.

Born a Scot but now firmly a Londoner, Paul Heron has previously held residencies in the capital's finest clubs such as Fabric's legendary DPTM, The End's Discotech, Crash, and Beyond alongside guesting at major nights like Coco Latte, Heaven, Trade @ Ministry of sound, Wildfruit and Salvation.

By the tender age of 19, Paul had broken out of the London scene and on to the international stage with his first Parisian set and by 20 was playing alongside Boy George in NYC's Avalon (Limelight) before he could even legally order a drink from the bar!

Paul and his record bag have been clocking up the air miles ever since, spinning from Singapore to Sydney, Ibiza to Istanbul, Toronto to Tel Aviv, Rio to L.A., Amsterdam to Frankfurt, Johannesburg to... erm... Euro Disney - well you get the idea - taking control of the decks alongside the likes of David Guetta, Frankie Knuckles, Wally Lopez, Seamus Haji, Peter Rauhofer, Dj Paulette, Grant Nelson, Tom Stephan, Nick Bridges(Bodyrox), Sammy Joe(Scissor Sisters), Tony Moran, Toni Bass, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, and Sonique to name but a few! In clubs such as The Mix, Red Light, Cabaret and Le Queen in Paris, Space in Barcelona, The Power Zone in Amsterdam, Fly in Toronto, The Market, Arq and Connections in Australia and list goes on!

A fan of the diva, Heron has also shared event stages with some of the best along the way most notably Lady GaGa, Mariah Carey, Barbra Tucker and the original disco-diva herself Gloria Gaynor!

Noted fans include David La Chapelle and Patrick Cox with others faces at past events including Elton John, Dolce & Gabanna, Grace Jones and The Pet Shop Boys and the Beckhams.

A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Paul's talents are by no means limited to music, with success in art, fashion and photography; disciplines that he has harnessed and integrated in to his VJing and DJ sets. Paul has played at parties for haute couture labels such as Dior and designed catwalk soundscapes for many of the world's leading fashion brands.

2009 will see Paul conquering the Rio Carnival, Sydney Mardi Gras, The Temptation Circuit festival Israel and Barcelona’s Circuit Festival . Alongside continuing to grow his acclaimed Industri night at Barcode and pushing his remix arm with DJ/producer titan Alan X after their much lauded fledgling remix of Empire of the suns hit "We are the people" for EMI and their radio/club smash edit of Stonebridge feat. Therese 'Take Me Away' as Rhythm Doctors.
