Currently I am living and DJing in Chicago since 2004. Those of you that know me know that my roots and hometown originate from Dublin, Ireland. I started picking up DJing in 1996 while growing up in Dublin.

Coming from a fruitful musical background my dance music tastes have varied over the years.
The earlier years of dance music from the late 80's into the early 90's is still very close to my heart. Heavily indulged in bands like The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Underworld and DJ's like Seduction, Carl Cox, Slipmatt, and DJ Hype.They all played a hugh part in transforming me as a DJ. My interests and tastes moved to the more predominant sounds of Sasha&Digweed, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Felix Da Housecat, Paul Oakenfold and Darren Emerson, the list is endless. I established a long time obsession with Techno and House but finally resided with my current style of choice,
House Music.

I have DJ'd in many clubs in Dublin and all over Ireland taking in cities such as Galway and Limerick.

DJing in Dublin especially gave me the opportunity to get into Radio which was all pirate stations in the day but all played a vital part in creating us and scene into the DJ's we all love and know today.

I finished up at Elm Street Liquors in spring '08 where I was Resident DJ for almost four years. It's been a rough few years trying to find my feet in this country and this city musically, given that there is such a dominant success of what the States thrives on like hiphop/rnb/pop top 40 formulated industry.I did learn a few more tricks along the way. Needless to say, me pushing dance music to the masses was like hitting my head off a brick wall. Having never spun hiphop in my life I had to find a channel to adapt to very quickly. The first gigs I got here it was like sink or swim lol!! Looking back it was a Great experience all the way.
The last year or so I decided I wanted start concentrating on what Im good at,the whole reason I started Djing,and passion that drives me like no other. The Love of House Music is something that can't be described. Everyones got there love. This is mine.
I eventually got my break into Smartbar where I was fortunate enough to land a Lollapolooza Festival afterparty gig opening for KASKADE.

My music in a nut shell is best described as House.
But under this title there is whole array of titles known as Sub-Genres.
It is within these sub-genres that I find my sound varying from House, Deep House, Tech, Progressive, Electro, Urban, Oldskool, Funky,Soulful & Techno

My love for music is still very much a passion as is DJing. I havent had much time for studio work yet due to a hectic schedule but hopefully I will eventually venture into producing this year.
2010 will definateley see some studio time for me producing my own music and launching Sham'Rockin Productions and hopefully a record label.
