Chris spent his formative years influenced by everything from Motown to Flamenco, but it was his guitar studies that helped him find the connection between his music and his soul. At the age of 15, Chris moved to NYC. Soon he was enchanted by the magical vibe of Studio 54, but it was the sounds that Roy Thode and Robbie Leslie created at the Saint that inspired Chris to his true calling: The Art of the DJ.
Chris got his start at early age of 16 playing house parties for friends, it was'nt until 1988 that he got his first real break ,since then his talent has brought him to such destinations such as Montreal , NYC, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale,, London, Amsterdam He has also played major events as Winterparty Miami, Pride South Florida , The L.U.R.E. in Exile Party in NYC. He has held residences ,Circuit and Torpedo in Fort Lauderdale.and New York's Splash Bar.
Over the past 2 years Chris took some time to focus on his production skills and go back to his roots embracing the afro latin rhythms and deep house vocals, that have always moved his soul fed his spirit, so when he returned back onto the scene he decided to not just come back as a DJ but also as a promoter, putting his vision of what he felt a venue should be. He wanted to to re create the vibe of places that he loved such as Paradise Garage, Body and Soul , Soundfactory and Roots at Cielo. Creating a care free and positive environment with no boundaries or borders where everyone comes together for the love of Music, no matter what your sexual preference or gender. His first venture
"Cuba Libre" at Vlada lounge NYC. has proven to be quite a success it takes place the last Sunday of every month with guest DJ's . when not behind the decks you can find Chris in the studio working on new creations for the dance floor and main stream.
