His life has always been about music: Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul, (and all other genres), as if he was born to play and enjoy this particular spice of life. When the creation of breakdancing came round, this was when he caught on... As a kid, DJ Causeway earned many community and school awards and articles as a breakdancer in a well-known group called "The Roboteers". After that, he later got stung in the heart and head about DJing, as the older partymakers back then illustrated what they did, he was most interested as to why they kept rubbing the records, starting music over, and such. A Boston DJ, since the Old School age of hip hop, around 1986. Spinning on roof-topped block parties, house parties, receptions, and other events. Also did house parties for colleges such as Boston College, spinning house music in dormitories. Collaborated with WILD-AM at an early age, spinning on the air as a teen, with 2 "Fly Girls" (by Boogie Boys) Pretty old, huh? Personal influenced by his Mom and Dad. Musically, the late Roger Troutman, Marley Marl, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre, Mix Master Ice, Scarface, Jazzy Jeff, Parliament Funkadelic, Kool G. Rap, Jam Master Jay, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, (the list goes on) continuous for complete major musical influences. Also, all the Golden Era artists whom paved the way for us all to make our music and shout to my local Artists and DJ’s that rep the City. Thanks! DJ Causeway is the e-Marketing Director and helps run a movement called TeamAllStarDJs & TeamAllStar Promotions. TeamAllStarDJs are one of Boston's premier DJing crews. TeamAllStarDJs consist of a hand full of Boston well know DJs: (DJ Big, DJ Eight2, DJ Lifted, DJ Backspin, DJ Che-Boogie, and DJ Hevan). TeamAllStar Promotions is one of Boston's up and coming street-level marketing and promotion companies. TeamAllStar Promotions mainly deal with street teaming and event marketing on a professional level. DJ Causeway also currently owns a Boston-based company called Acetone Entertainment, which provides flavor such as "Ear Hustle Radio", the upcoming 1-hour podcasted mixshow, early 2010, hosting up Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Top40, Old School, and more, able to be downloadable right into your ipod.
