Born in Cuba, surrounded by the native musical sounds of the island, DJ Calderin's love for music surfaced at an early age. His interest in alternative music was first sparked by the sounds of classic progressive and industrial groups. Depeche Mode, Front 242, and Nitzer Ebb played a huge influential role. During his residency at Club Kristal Afterhours he developed the large loyal following he keeps to this day. DJ Calderin has established residency at legendary clubs such as; Groove Jet, Oxygen Lounge, Goddess Nightclub, Shadow Lounge, Kit-Kat and Power Studios.

From his home base in Miami, DJ Calderin's talents are creating a solid reputation throughout the club scene. A master behind the turntables or in the recording studio, DJ Calderin brings the same energetic approach to his original productions that he consistently delivers to his live audiences. His deepest talents lie in his ability to transform a live event into an unforgettable, musical experience.

DJ Calderin continues to perform at various widely recognized events such as Ultra Music Festival and Guacara Taina, an underground event held in the Dominican Republic. There he performed one of his most phenomenal heart pounding sets at an after party for Duran Duran. Accompanied by two live percussionists and a stage full of theatrical dancers, DJ Calderin also delivered an exceptional set in Miami at SOBE Live when he performed with Keoki for The HNO Experience. He has also performed countless sets throughout Miami's underground rave circuit at events such as Enimation and Cyber Fest. DJ Calderin currently holds a guest residency at The Womb where he performes a live two hour set.

DJ Calderin always brings his extensive knowledge of house, tribal and Latin rhythms to the tables, forging a truly unique sound that has to be heard live to be fully appreciated. Incorporating new and classic tracks, often remixed, DJ Calderin seamlessly blends pulsing progressive, tech, and tribal house grooves.
