DJ M BIOGRAPHY

BACKGROUND: Saman Chokchaipornrak [M] was born in Thailand in 1975. Having been trained in gymnastics and dance, he combined the 2 disciplines into a highly praised, innovative choreography. M was staff choreographer and taught Rap Dance and Jazz at the Bangkok Dance Studio. As a professional dancer, he was a member of Variety Dance Group and Free Dance, [dance team he formed in 1993], in addition to free lance appearances with other dancers and groups. In 2002 he represented Thailand at an International Dance Competition in Manila, Philippines.
M’s practice of combining different elements of music for his choreography coupled with a passion for dance naturally led him to become a DJ. His thoughtful FUSION mix of elements of house, electro-house, progressive house, trance and popular vocal music creates multilayered, richly textured music with a strong dance beat which, like him, is generally happy and upbeat.
