(Walking along Crosby beach, shooting the Gormley installation in the dying sun and listening to a San Diego music scene podcast is about as surreal as it can get.)

I spend far too much time with a computer (I never realised that podcasting was so demanding, and why is it that the more I do it the more time it takes?) - big fan of The Frames, Damien Rice and Coldplay - like Art Galleries - Modern Art (but not the pretentious, no talent rubbish that masquerades as that) - intend to paint something good one day - love the sea, Liverpool history and architecture - Welsh slate quarries (it's the vanished industrial past that I find fascinating) - an occasional glass of wine - St Agnes, Cornwall, Greece, heritage, Jack, cats, dogs, well most animals (not wasps).
