I found it!!" I said to my 15 year old self... I was listening to Depeche Mode thru my neighbor's window... It was melodic, rhythmic and "synthetic"... I fell in love. Since then I've been listening to Electronic music. I was labeled as a misfit at school because of my musical taste. I didn't care... My musical taste matured and I started to listen to Industrial and Classical music. In 2001 things changed, I was looking for something different, something magical. The first encounter with trance and house music happened when I saw my friend Julio (DJ Ground) spin some records at Don Loope in Tijuana and then at a party in Rosarito, and it just "clicked". I decided to buy a cd called The Politics of Dancing by Paul Van Dyk and it blew my mind!! Later that year I had to move to San Diego and met Eric Simon who became my best friend and my mentor. He showed me how to spin vinyl records and how to take the mixing in to the "next level". I love Progressive Trance and Tech Trance, I eat and breath it! I've been spinning vinyl and cd's for 3 years and it's been awesome! I'm listening to the music that I trully love on "another level". Music has it's own magic and it has led me play at different venues in San Diego like Club Montage, The Keating, Club Scape (TJ),On Broadway, Kadan, The Air Conditioned Lounge, The Rhythm Lounge, The Static Lounge, The Marin Lounge, The Kava Lounge and The Brass Rail.
