I live in Fareham in Hampshire, sitting nicely between Portsmouth and Southampton and two hours from London.
I started DJing in 1999 purely to make mix tapes of songs I liked because I was getting fed up with buying albums only for a couple of songs! Two Sound lab belt drive turntables and a crackling two channel mixer and I loved it to the point of getting bitten by the bug and buying a pair of technics 1210s. After the a few years I moved onto the cd decks realm, Pioneer cdj 400s and a djm 600. Now I've moved onto Traktor, Pro 2 with the S2, the best thing I've ever done.
I've always been a fan of house music, all forms of. Stone Roses - Fools Gold being the first vinyl I ever purchased! I spent years collecting labels such as Hooj and bedrock cutting out printed track lists so I could always be on the lookout for new music, which hasn't changed much as now its searching all corners of the internet for new music.
I've become a fan of all music from all across the spectrum and not being eyes down on any one particular genre, always on the look for the perfect tune. I really enjoy playing deep house and techno with the occasional classic thrown in. varying between house and techno gives me freedom and versatility to adjust my set to the audience or who I’m playing before or after and the time of the night,
I’ve had the pleasure of playing around Portsmouth and Southampton, playing trance and techno as a resident for hard dance nights called vinyl fantasy, dark energy and asylum. I’ve played a few small pubs and bars playing deep house with the most recent called Housetrap at club V
I’ve played at Capri club and Lakota in Bristol, a warm up set at the bic in Bournemouth but my greatest achievement was blagging a set in NYC at a bar called Simyone in the village.
