Swiff LaRoc has been spinning music professionally for over 15yrs. Having been 1/3 of the music revolutionaries known as Da Grassroots he has managed to achieve 2 juno awards in his career as a producer. He has also spent 6 of those 15yrs cultivating two groundbreaking radio shows (SPECTRUM OF SOUL-105.5/ PLUG TUNIN’-89.9). Nowadays you can catch him Friday nights in rotation at the LeScratch nightclub in Oshawa.

The Classic88 Radio Show is dedicated to the pioneers and unsung heroes of the hip hop culture. Keeping in mind the name Classic ’88 is not specific to the year but more reflective of the authenticity and diversity that hip hop embodied in that year. With that said, we shall be playing nothing but that “original b-boy material.” Nuff said.
