Chris Caggs has been in the Radio Industry for 14 Years presenting various Urban - Hip Hop & RnB radio shows & Dance. He is currently presenting on 2ICR - Inclusive Community Radio which broadcasts over the internet at http://icrradio.webs.com and still seeking a FM license. He plays a variety of RnB and Commercial Hip Hop. Some of his highlights in his career is broadcasting on all 3 monthly seasons of test broadcasts for Groove FM 96.9 & 94.5 Sydney wide for the ever popular "Groove FM Breaky Show" on it's 1st October 1999 broadcast and Saturdays & Sunday's 8am - 10am on May 2000 which broadcasted from the ever impressive Wild FM studio's & Roberts Media December 2000/January 2001 broadcasts. The station we believe attracted over 200 000+ listeners not to mention that Chris Caggs was responsible with assisting the Station Manager with recording music, preparing music logs as well. Groove FM attracted sponsors like General Pants Co, Coca-Cola, Sportsgirl, STA Travel and various Nightclubs. Groove FM also attracted big name celebrities as part as it's On Air Announcer Line Up such as Andrew G (Australian Idol/Take 40), Zoe Naylor (Gladiators/MTV/Actress), Yvette Duncan (MTV), Bessie Bardot (Model) & Natasha Zuvela (MTV). Chris was also involved with Groove FM 97.3 Brisbane's 1st 6 week broadcast only from Pulse FM studio's and presented the Breakfast Show as well as the roles for Groove FM Sydney. Chris even interviewed his Father Gavin Carragher (Australian Olympian sprinter from the 1956 Melbourne Olympics) and RnB sensation "Joe" with the jams "The One For Me", "I'm In Luv" & "Stutter". The story doesn't stop there, Chris also joined DJ-FM 87.6 broadcasting from Roberts Media in Leichhardt in Sydney's Little Italy and the station played Dance, Trance, Hi Nrg, House & Electro and Chris presented the 1pm - 5pm every weekday. DJ-FM 87.6 was a low powered narrowcast station braodcasting to the Inner Suburbs & Sydney CBD only from 1998-2000 and attrated Major Sponsors such as Telstra, Central Station Records, SBA Music (Pulse BPM Music) & Carlton & United Breweries. Other highlights were being a Presenter on 2RDJ 88.1FM from Burwood, Sydney where he played Urban - Hip Hop & RnB (1999-2006) and Sydney's FM 99.3 2NSB from Chatswood on Sydney's North Shore close to where he resides.He broadcasted from 2001-03 an Urban - Hip Hop & RnB show called "Thursday Flavours". Chris was privledge to start his Radio Career at Sydney's 1st Hip Hop & RnB Radio Station simply named Pump FM 99.3 from July 1998/October 1998. Radio is his passion and he went on to assist manage the Promotions of a couple of Nightclub Events in Sydney such run by "The Urban Authority" around Easter 2002 named "Seventh Day @ The Hunter Bar Sydney" & "Glo @ Minc Lounge". They attracted a DJ line up such as Sam Boutros, KMXE, Leon Smith & G-Wizard.
