I'm a music educator that is very involved with TI:ME (Technology Institute for Music Educators). I like to share this interest with other music teachers that want to know how to use music technologies in their classrooms.
I'm on the TI:ME Ohio Advisory Board and love teaching my urban students. School starts soon and - like always - I am getting excited to start again. After 19 years in the classroom I look forward to a fresh start. Teaching is one of the hardest yet interesting jobs there is.
My family: We have 3 beautiful daughters that keep us busy running here and there. My husband and I enjoy watching them each grow individually.
One is in Marching Band and is a writer. The second one competes in 4H at our county fair with cooking projects. In fact, she just won the opportunity to compete at our state fair soon. Our youngest competes in gymnastics and trains 9 hours a week. She is doing this for fun only - not for some Olympic title, etc.
My husband sings in a gospel quartet at our church. I enjoy directing my handchime (similar to handbells) choir at school.
Did I say we were REALLY, REALLY BUSY?
Be blessed.
Elaine
