DJ Mike Walker is the founder of the Chicago-based House Music Label West Loop Gate Records. WWW.WLGRECORDS.COM. The Philadelphia native fell in love with sound during his freshman year at Lincoln University and held down the lion's share of the functions at Temple University . Ironically enough, he now resides in the very city that gave birth to the music; Chicago, IL.
West Loop Gate Records was founded in 2004 and has been producing original House Music ever since. Our first track debuted in 2006 and we have over 20 tracks already in circulation. WLG Records released their debut album and first ever, all digital release entitled "Digital Delivery". Our original music can be purchased globally at Stompy.com.
Having held down several residencies and guest slots both in Philadelphia and Chicago, DJ Mike Walker and Anthony The Moniker are gearing up for more live DJ sets and a host of new releases in 2007.
