Reaganometry is the brainchild of native Texan, Reagan VanMatre. A one man musical flight of the navigator, Reaganometry composes a twisted sound and sample collage that incorporates elements of glitch, IDM, dubstep, funk, soul and his own brand of musical fortissimo. He is currently working on compositions for a 12" E.P. to be released on Austin label iNSECT RECORDS later this year. He recently finished a summer residency as a part of the Hot Sh!t Summer Series at Austin's Club Deville, which featured performances by Take, Dr. Strangeloop, Baths, Mony/Poly, Ernest Gonzales and others in a four-part series that brought together talented beat-makers and producers from L.A., San Antonio, Austin, Bakersfield, CA, and points in between. Reaganometry continues to recreate a new sonic landscape each day, adding to the local musical architecture.
