SHAKE! is a project that brings together young people, artists & campaigners to develop creative responses to social injustice. Inspired by the memories of Nigerian Writer and Activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa, and in celebration of the life of Stephen Lawrence SHAKE! participants engage in dynamic workshops (Poetry writing & performance, Film Making, DJ artwork) & follow-up mentoring to pursue creative campaigning & events production. SHAKE! was initiated by PLATFORM and is a collaboration between African Writers Abroad, Afrogroov, Liquorice Fish, Conversations: Verse in Dialog, Chocolate Films, Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
