"Mrs. Pleasant" is actually, Emily Amarnick. Mrs. Pleasant was a nickname that her parents gave her as a baby and in some way has always stuck. Emily has been into vintage clothing, antiques and eating well for as long as she can remember. She's always been fascinated by the story each piece tells as well as the art that goes into preparing food.
She was born and raised in Philadelphia, and grew up surrounded by art and music; nurtured by her family, propelled her innate need to create. After some time in Brooklyn, NY, she's returned to Philly. Inspired by everything around her she’s been studying art, fashion, food and most importantly, people - her entire life.
Whatever her future, the results are sure to be passionate, soulful and sincere. Her mission is to share her love of all things one of a kind and healthy, as well as make people feel wonderful on the inside and outside in the process.
"I want them to know their true selves, not who they think they're supposed to be, I want to give people the opportunity to experience the joy and inspiration I get from vintage clothing, antiques and flavorful healthy vegan and vegetarian food". Obviously this woman is leading by example.
