I'm a self proclaimed music lover; aficionado of house, rap, jazz, punk, funk, soul & anything else in between. I tend to look under & above the radar of what's new and refreshing. None of that radio/MTV/BET b.s. could satisfy my appetite. Give me that funk, that punk, and that retro.
I never like to use the word old school/new school. That was something created by the "gatekeepers" of the industry to pigeon-hold the consumers of what we should/should not listen to. I'm not saying what's on the radio isn't good but there needs to be an equal and fair balance of what else is out there. Not the same songs/videos 50 times in a day. Give my the real! I'm true skool (school) to the fullest! True to myself!
