Grace Community Bible Church was founded in 1920 as a Sunday school program for children. Growth was slow in the begining so Mrs. Wooters, (one of the founding mothers) asked a local church administrator to come and give short lessons on Sunday mornings to encourage more growth. Not much time passed before regular attendance between 80-100 was achieved. In 1928 the Sunday school program decided to build their own building and become a full fledged church. The building was compleated and the first service was held on Easter Sunday in 1929. Grace Community Bible Church has stood in the same place since then and has contiued to be a beacon of ligth the the St. Charles Mesa in Pueblo, Colorado.
