My name is Falex or Alex, I'm 28 year old male from United Kingdom.
I have been a fan of dance music since 1993/94, originally I started out with Jungle/Drum & Bass. Listening on the FM pirate radio stations. That took me into a new world of underground dance music. Going through the 90's I fell in love with House & Trance through the compilations that were released by DJ's such as Pete Tong & Seb Fontaine. Also a regular listener to RadioOne. I was always keen to learn how to DJ as I found each DJ had a different style and method. The idea of going to Ibiza and making it big also was a big attraction. In my late teens I enjoyed the buzz of dance music flowing through the charts and the night clubs in my city.
In 2002, after a short term in the armed forces I met some new friends that were to change my life. They introduced me to the underground scene once more, in the way of after-hours clubs and in tune with Hard House/Trance. I was able to get a close up on how DJ's did their thing. In no time at all I managed to acquire my first pair of decks and a few vinyl. I was on my way, and I my friends were also at the same stage as me. I had my first chance to play that same year, it was enough for me to want to do it again.
To this day I continue to work at getting myself out there. I went digital in 2007 purchasing my first pair of CDJ's. I still love playing vinyl though. By chance I got involved with internet radio in 2008 after a couple of years playing my tunes through Paltalk rooms. I would say that internet radio is more of an intimate style of sharing music. I still have ambitions to get into the clubs and festivals to play live.
Over the years, my preference has been Trance - uplifting, vocal, progressive. I do love playing other styles of music though, including House, Techno, Breaks, Old Skool, Garage, Drum & Bass and generally anything with a beat.
I love turntablism and I love sharing music.
Peace outmore
