"House Music All Night Long", is what best describes Doc-Bilal. Spinning soulful underground house music and classics is my specialty.
I fell in love with the art in 1982 when I lived next door to a friend whose uncle was a Joc. It was the 1st time I'd ever saw a Uri, Technic 1200's, and over 20 crates of records. It was love at first site. I have been playing ever since.
My inspirations are Tony Humpheries, John Robinson, and Merlin Bob.
I love the house scene. I mostly partied in Brooklyn, NY at Langston's, 667, Frankies Lounge, or Listening to my boy DJ Ron V at Sapphires in Manhattan. Back in the day I was always at Zanzibar listening to Tony. These days I reside in Tampa, FL, Not much soul here. I do have my own live show on www.jerseydjs.com along with my fam DJ Vazz Lydell and DJ Nokk1. You can check me out live every Tuesday from 1pm-3pm Eastern standard time.
