Bascially I love to spin house both of today and 80's era beats. I'm a big fan of 808 state, marshall jefferson, mr. fingers...I also love to spin disco, Instant Funk, Skyy, and First Choice to name a few. I also am a big fan of punk such as d-beat, crust punk, etc. I'm also perfecting my mixing style, glued to my decks 24/7, trying to hone my skills in the footsteps of DJ Strex and Nick Gadget. I'm also experimenting with harmonic mixing b/c that's just the things these days, or so i think. Besides that, one of the major reasons why I became a DJ (spinning since 2006-2007), is to follow in the footsteps of my father and grandpa. Me Djing is not only for the love of music and enjoyment but to carry on the generation of Djing in my family, you know, to keep it going strong and not let it die out. Hopefully it will pass on to my children and their children, that is, if the hip-hop and rap doesn't get to their head first and turn them into the many mindless zombies of today. Otherwise, I love the 80's, I wish I was born or living in it, and I'm pretending I am at the moment too. My fav. groups are The Smiths, 14 Iced Bears, Pulp, Prefab Sprout, The Wonder Stuff, The Bolshoi, Fad Gadget, Liquid Liquid, Inspiral Carpets, Aztec Camera, Travis, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, The Farm, Senseless Things, Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine, Thousand Yard Stare, Kitchens of Distinction, The Charlatans, Chapterhouse, Teenage Fanclub, Crispy Ambulance, The Swell Maps, The Cramps, The Church, Killing Joke, Flesh for Lulu, and a shitload of the Pixies to save my life every single boring, dead day. Bauhaus, 14 Iced Bears, and The Wonder Stuff hold jams that I'm currently counting now as the "soundtrack to my life" such as "Like a Dolphin", "Grin", and "Bela Lugosi's Dead". This are also simply known as my personal, all time "supermarket jams". This whole bit i just wrote is nothing compared though to what I'm listening to in all. It's just a mere sum-up, mini summarization. I'll update a full sum-up as soon as I can scrap my bum off my decks and get all my music genres together. It sounds very promising, and will prove to be, to all. -DJ Senith (of Cell Block D, Shep Versus Merce, The Basement Boy Project)
