My intention with these podcasts is primarily to share the joy of the music I love so much, reggae, be it foundation or modern (mainly, but not strictly roots style). I also like to make people that are new to it or have different interests within reggae aware of other things out there and maybe get them interested. Additionally with modern reggae, I've noticed that numerous people claim to not like it without having heard much other than the latest big hits and my mixes could maybe get them to realize there's so much more available. In the mixes I do NOT use full tunes. That is a deliberate choice, because I do not want my mixes to replace buying a tune. I mix shorter pieces of usually 1 to 1,5 minutes together so you get a very well idea of the tune and if it grabs you, I usually try to give as much info needed in the description so people can, when still available, get the originals themselves. That's basically it, now let the music do the talking.
