Asking started his dj’ing days from May 2003. His set is best described as purely house music with the touch of deep, funk, soul, nu disco, electronica and somehow he always manage to put in that techno feels in his set. Asking’s musical perspectives has take him to where he is right now. He has spun from the decks at Club like Centro, Wonderbar, Embassy to the decks of Jakarta Movement in 2005 and received award from JUICE MAGAZINE for DJ QUEST 2007 10 SEMIFINALIST. After that he became resident DJ at BIN17 Wine House (October 2009-March 2010). Asking’s set are mainly influenced by many great Djs especially Kerri Chandler, Doug Willis, Masters at Work, The Wicked Crew, Crazy P, Chemical Brothers, Knee Deep, Inland Knights, Hideo Kobayashi, Westpark Unit, Fred Everything, Faze Action, Shur I Kan, Jaffa, Ilija Rudman, Idjut Boys, The Revenge, Spirit Catcher, Acos Coolkas, Low Motion Disco, Reverso 68, Dee Lite, Fort Knox Five, B Team, Kraak & Smaak, Mudd, Thievery Corporation and many more . Asking finds that these magnificent dj’s bought a fresh air wave to the house scene with their unusual sound of house music.
