The true-born Spanish Oliver Martinez aka DJ Little Martinez saw the light of day in Basel in 1983. He already got enthusiastic about music at an early age. He had initially strongly been influenced by his two older brothers, who were both involved in the Hip Hop scene. Nevertheless he early got interested in electronic music. With 16 he started to work at the local TV Company 'Tele Basel' in the youth show 'MashTV'. A little later he additionally took up work as editor and moderator in the House broadcasting 'Treibhouse' on Radio X. (www.treibhouse.ch)

As voice of Treibhouse and by his presence as 'MashTV' host the number of his bookings automatically started to increase. He was regularly booked as DJ by several clubs of Basel until he had the opportunity to put up as Resident at 'Eventhouse Club' along with notable DJ's such as Little Louie Vega, Brian Tappert, George Morel and several other stars. He has already been playing his sets with famous live acts like Barbara Tucker, Ultra Nate, Lee Fields, Shene and Gary Nesta Pine.

His references can be put in appearance: he was already standing behind the mixing consoles of clubs like Q Club, OXA, Pravda, Loft, Casineum, Prestige or Lifting. In 2005 he has been nominated 'Best Newcomer Dj Switzerland'.

Not forgetting his performances in foreign clubs like Peter Pan (Italy), Parfüm (Germany) and numerous gigs along the east coast of Spain and the Balearics like Ex Pacha Mallorca, which he realized within the frame of his east Spain trip 2007 and 2008

Little Martinez was last years Swiss Resident Dj of the Housexy (Ministry of Sound) Swiss Toure. You will hear much more from Little Martinez coming with new production like The Breakout, a featuring work with Shena, the amazing voice of the worldwide Clubhit „The Weekend“. With his own Label Sopla Records, he is going to release also tracks from other talented young artists.
