I've been having screwy stats for a while now, mostly to do with downloads, for instance, today I have 44 downloads in one location and 70-something in another, both highly unlikely as I only have 27 episodes! I'm wondering if it has to do with listeners having download problems on their end and doing repeat downloads? Anyway, sure would be nice to have stats that we could trust as we pay a monthly fee for this (among other things...), sent an e-mail to customer service, never heard back. But hey, until another site comes along that does what Podomatic does, but does it right, we're stuck with it, I guess...

Seriously, what is the friggin' deal with the stats already? If I can't get reliable stats and can't get replies to e-mails from "Pro Support", then what in the hell am I payin' money for?

What makes you think those numbers "in one location" are from the same computer? Or same house, or same anything? Is it not possible that some professor or student recommended that an auditorium full of students listen to your show?
Try a bit less drama over your numbers. They are what they are and the admins can't wave a magic wand and explain them all. Use the numbers or not, if you are selling ads, sell the click-throughs - those can be documented.

One yellow line and nothing else remains..

There must be some sort of problem...
I like the stats so I hope they fix it soon and that the past is not lost.
I know I should have saved a copy...too late now

To Dave M, up above...You know what pal, I was gonna post a long rant about dudes like you who lurk around the forums acting like know-it-alls, but decided that would be a waste of time. Coupla points tho...you didn't answer any questions, but only asked a few more, so don't see the point of why you even posted. And if "the admins can't wave a magic wand and explain" how the stats do or don't work, then that pretty much by definition makes them something other than "statistics", more like "voodoo". If the # on a stat flag doesn't indicate the number of downloads from a specific location, then why have a flag indicating a specific location? And speaking of definitions, you seem to come from some kinda theater background, I see no "drama" here, I have questions and I'm lookin' for answers, sorry if I didn't present them exactly in your preferred method, but I, along with everybody else on here, put a lot of time and effort into their podcasts and are bound to get a little worked up when things go wrong and they can't get the answers or solutions they're looking for, so if anyone has any actual ANSWERS to my questions about stats, please, feel free...
