i have done some video recording in 16.9 wide yet when I upload it goes back to 4.3 ratio does podomatic cater for widescreen video if so what am i doing wrong? thanks Luk.tv

Hi. Currently we don't support widescreen. We are rewriting our conversion code however, and could add support for widescreen.

I'll put it on the list.

Actually, I checked, and we do explicitly support preserving the aspect ratio, but its for MP4. What results you'll get in Flash I can't say at this time. Note that we used 3rd-party products, so our control is limited to what these products provide.

Note, also, that the embedded Player is Flash code, so you'll get 4.3 aspected shows if that's how you view it. I believe iTunes is a bit more flexible, don't know what the Play button will give you.
