Subject: Network Maintenance, May 5 2008

Hi all,

I just got an email from our ISP that they will be doing some work on the site's Internet link between 2AM and 5AM on May 1, 2008. (It's not just us; everyone in the whole datacenter is affected).

While it's VERY unlikely that we will be offline for the entire time, I wanted to warn everyone who is planning to use the site during that time that access may be a bit iffy then.

Thanks for the notice. A small request - in future, can you state the time zone on these messages? I assume that this is PST, is that right?

Yes, this is California time, so I believe that's Pacific Daylight Savings Time right now.
