Re: Comments

If you are an attorney, I must wonder a) what kind and b) what skill level. I've never before seen a public threat like this! Not from an attorney, at least.
If you'd been paying attention to this forum, you'd have noticed that this topic has been discussed several times, both just among we users and between the users and the staff. It boils down to:
a) comments are 'protected' by the "text in the image" routine
b) most people don't want to deal with spammed comments
c) most people don't want to have to approve valid comments

You're going to have to deal with the comments either way, this way you only have to deal with the bad ones.
Now, might I ask how you discovered the links were to Japanese Porn? You just had to click on the links, didn't you! You don't understand that this is, among other things, a phishing expedition? Were you at least using FireFox or Safari in Private Browsing mode?
If you seriously insist on having this dealt with, hit the Pro Support link at the bottom of the page and make a suggestion.
BTW: I am not a POM employee, my opinions are my own, and I'll defend my own butt if you decide to get litigious with me. I can use the extra income. x(

Re: Comments

May I inquire on what data you base your following statements: 1) "most people don't want to deal with spammed comments" and 2) most people don't want to have to approve valid comments. Appapantly not all comments are valid, in fact you state that some must be spammed. I respect your opinion to leave matters as they are but I would rather have the option to police the comments on my page. I would venture to guess that other podcasters might also.

Yes I only use safari in private browsing mode.

And I have emailed my post/statement to the podomatic administrators.

About the extra income I would respectfully suggest you search for some add'l employment. In any event there is no purpose to commence litigation with you. Although you are entitled to you opinion it doesn't have any bearing upon what happens to or with podomatic's liability to the members of this site. Furthermore if you like the status quo you can opt out of the class when you get notice of the class action, if the situation is not adequately resolved.
