I have been submitting my podcast to the directories and recieved the following warning messages - basically meaning I have to edit my rss feed, but how can I do this?? * WARNING Channel has missing or invalid itunes:owner tag. (code: 6610) * WARNING Channel has missing or invalid itunes:category tag. Please use the itunes:category format rather than the older tags format. (code: 6570) * WARNING Channel category blank after falling back to older tag format. Assuming "General". To change this, claim and edit your feed after submission. (code: 6020) * WARNING Item with missing or invalid opening and closing tags (data: Item number 1 titled "Brazilian Hip Hop & Funk", Item number 2 titled "Baile Funk / Funk Carioca", Item number 3 titled "My intro / what got me hooked on Brazilian Music - Show 1", Item number 4 titled "Preview of music to come - SAMBA", Item number 5 titled "Brazilian Fusion - Afroreggaedigital broadcast") (code: 6500)

It looks like you have two mistakes a) "wner tag" (?whatever?) is wrong and b) category (!) tag is wrong. Since I have no idea what the first is, I'll ask about the second. What have you specified as your "category"? You need to select from those used by iTunes. "Samba", for example, is not on that list. You should have set this up in your Profile. Dave M

Ok so I think I must be a simple soul because I can not find where I can edit my "category" field????

OK, I can accept that. I've done it ... three times... and it took me a couple tries to locate the trail. Go to My Podcast, then over to Preferences, then use the Edit link next to where it says Categories. I really DO love the Tabs feature on my browser ... makes this sort of research less iffy. Dave M
